Momentum

In Feb of 2010 a few RI area churches had a men’s retreat together. God FELL on the men on that trip and instilled honesty, grace and most of all Unity in them. Upon return a few of us decided to keep the “momentum” rolling.

Momentum is a Men’s gathering for any Christian men in RI. If you are willing to take the trip to the meeting you are more than welcome!

The format is simple:
Worship, teaching, small discussion groups and prayer.

Our goal for this meeting is not to disciple the men. We believe that the individual churches should be handling that.  We do not want men using this meeting as an excuse for not going to their own church meetings. The meetings will not be on the same week as 1Prayer because we believe the men NEED to be at 1prayer.

This meeting has been birthed out of a God vision that the men need to be real with each other, get real with God and go back to their own churches and make a change for Christ.

For far too long the men of the church have let the women do all the work. It’s time for the men to get on the front lines of the battle to fight for our community, our familes, and for the Church.
